Irritable Bowel Syndrome (or IBS for short) is a functional disorder of the gut, meaning that there are problems in the functioning, but not the structure, of the gut.
There are many products which may be effective irritable bowel syndrome remedies, but their effectiveness may depend on whether diarrhea, constipation or both are present.
Because most people do not seek help until symptoms become particularly frustrating, irritable bowel syndrome pathogenesis or the progression or development of the syndrome is unknown.
