Sleep deprivation and sleep disorders are becoming a standard way of 21st century life, with approximately 25% of US citizens taking sleeping pills or other sleep-inducing medication to help them nod off each night.
The bedroom should be a place that allows you to have a long and restful sleep but if you are with someone who heavily snores, then you can kiss your sweet dreams goodbye.
Snoring may not seem to be a nuisance to someone who actually snores, but to everyone else, it's completely disturbing and can be the cause of sleepless nights.
There are a variety of ways to treat sleep disorders. While over-the-counter medications are often used and can be beneficial for some people, leading sleep experts caution that, for many, such sleep aids can end up causing more problems than they solve.
If you are having a hard time falling asleep at night, you don't have to grab for some sleeping pills, be it over the counter stuff like Tylenol PM, or prescription medication.
