Natural Progesterone Cream: What You Need to Know About Progesterone and Menopause
By Jason Ladock | Menopause | Rating:

Menopause is natural. It is not an illness. However, our society treats it like an illness because of the many "symptoms" that are experienced during this time in a woman’s life. Until women realize that the symptoms they are experiencing is what’s not natural, this mindset is not likely to change.

According to Dr. Lee of "What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Premenopause", the symptoms you are experiencing are caused by hormonal imbalances due to our diet and lifestyle.

The American diet is high in processed foods which are high in polyunsaturated fats. Polyunsaturated fats are high in Omega 6 and low in Omega 3. This is causing an imbalance in premenopausal women which in turn is causing the symptoms the majority of women are experiencing.

The imbalance is called "estrogen dominance" and is responsible for the hot flashes, breast tenderness, irregular periods, fibroid tumors, migraines, and low sex drive. This might sound like a hopeless situation, but it isn’t.

This hormonal imbalance can be straightened out by following these two tips.

Tip # 1 -- Use Natural Progesterone Cream

Progesterone is a hormone that your body produces. When your body becomes less fertile, triggering menopause, it gradually produces less estrogen and progesterone. If your system is already out of balance due to estrogen dominance, this will set off these symptoms associated with menopause.

To stop this vicious cycle, purchase a natural progesterone cream at any reputable health food store. Use the prescribed amount of cream twice daily for three weeks. The fourth week is the week you will have your period -- similar to the birth control pill cycle.

By doing this, you will restore the natural balance in your body and your symptoms will lessen or go away.

If progesterone is so great, why don’t you hear about it from your doctor or on TV commercials? Because it is a natural substance. Pharmaceutical companies can’t patent for sale and make a profit from a natural substance. Therefore, they’re not interested. Sadly, if pharmaceutical sales reps don’t push a drug on doctors, many doctors don’t know they exist. Natural progesterone cream is a good solution.

Now you know.

Tip # 2 -- Improve Your Diet

In addition to using the progesterone cream, improve your diet. Eliminate fast food and processed foods from your diet. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables with plenty of fiber each day.

Eat foods high in Omega 3 several times per week. You can easily get the optimal amount of Omega 3 in your diet by:

Eating a ¼ cup of walnuts per day

Using olive oil instead of vegetable oil

Eating Albacore tuna or wild caught salmon once to twice a week

By making sure you do one of the above each week, you should be on the right track to getting enough Omega 3 in your diet. This will help balance out your hormones.

Eliminate caffeine, tobacco, and alcohol from your lifestyle. If you do, you will add years to your lifespan and enjoy much more natural energy.

Tip # 3 -- Exercise

Our bodies are made to move, so move it. Try walking, biking, or swimming 60 minutes per day three to four times per week.

By understanding the importance of using progesterone cream and improving your diet to create hormonal balance in your body once again, you can soon get much needed relief from your menopausal symptoms.
