Skin Protection in the Sun
By Jason Ladock | Tanning | Unrated

Beach lovers especially love the summer months. It is the right time of year to get the natural suntan as well as showing off the trim figure you have hidden during the cooler months. The summer time at the beach is the time to enjoy the water and the sunshine. Nothing says summer more than the cooling waters of the beach, the sand, and the bright sunlight.

There are many beach activities you can enjoy. You can look gorgeous in the sun doing so many things at the beach. Take measures to avoid damaging your skin with the sun exposure and the possibilities of a sunburn. Keep your skin looking beautiful by applying sunscreen with moisturizers.

Before going to the beach, apply a face moisturizer. The best kind of moisturizer will have a sunscreen so you do not burn your nose or face. Apply a concealer to the moisturizer to match the tone of your skin. The concealer will hide any unbalanced areas of your face as well as any dark circles under your eyes.

Apply a small amount of blush to your cheeks and nose. Do not apply too much or you will look out of place at the beach. You want to look fresh not as if you are going to a party and have makeup on. Adding a small amount of pink blush to the cheek will be really enhanced in the sun at the beach.

Apply translucent powder to your face lightly. Apply it mainly on the nose, eyes and chin area. This creates a great look to the t-zone of the face. Finish the look by adding waterproof mascara lightly.

Add a sunscreen to your hair. This will reduce the amount of damage you may experience from the exposure to the sun. Rub the sunscreen in thoroughly into the scalp and roots.

Do not forget to shave everywhere. Shave with a shaving cream and sharp razor with warm water. Apply a cream to the tender areas you shaved. Add a moisturizer to the legs, arms, back, and stomach areas. Allow the moisturizers to dry. Apply a sunscreen to the areas of skin that will be exposed to the sun. Applying the sunscreen before you get to the beach will allow it to absorb into the skin and work better.

While at the beach, remember to reapply the sunscreen often since your skin will sweat and dilute the sunscreen. You will also get into the water and it will be washed off too. Take plenty of water to stay hydrated while at the beach. Between the makeup applied to your face, the moisturizes added to your skin, and the sunscreen in your hair, you are ready for a day at the beach where you will look gorgeous in the sun and surf.
