It seems to me that some women tend to get showered with gifts from the man in their lives. Sometimes they receive flowers or a romantic card, and sometimes they receive little love kits filled with body lotions, perfume, bubble bath, etc… Have you ever thought about creating a love kit for the man in your life?
Now, this is a fairly easy project to make and it is not expensive unless you want to make it expensive. It is something that the man in your life won’t be expecting. It will probably take him by surprise but will make him very happy. The best part about this love kit is that it is versatile enough to give him for any occasion whether it is a holiday or his birthday.
The materials you will need for this project are a small wicker basket, red tissue paper, a blank card and envelope, and whatever items you want to use to fill the basket. You could choose to use items such as cologne, a can of shaving cream, a thing of deodorant, a new wallet, a watch, and a keychain. None of these items are too expensive and they all make good gifts.
Begin this project by filling the basket with the red tissue paper. First, drape the red tissue paper over each side of the basket and then use the remaining tissue paper to fill up the inside of the basket. Now, all you have to do is fill the basket with his favorite items. Write a small note on the inside of the blank card, place the card in the envelope, and place in the basket along with the other items.
Remember that you don’t have to fill the basket with items such as cologne or shaving cream. You could fill it with some of his favorite movies or music CDs. Maybe you would rather fill it with his favorite snacks such as candy, chips, peanuts, or popcorn. If he is a sports fan then maybe you could fill his basket with some of his favorite team’s souvenirs or collectibles. If he is really active in game stations such as Wii or Playstation then you could also fill his basket with a variety of games. If he enjoys working on cars or other things you could fill his basket with various tools.
This project is so simple to make that even the kids might enjoy making one and giving it as a gift for their friends or grandma and grandpa. This is also a gift that you can create for a new neighbor who has just moved into the area or for an elderly neighbor who is homebound.
