With this one little trick you can easily edit any text, pictures or other fields - and all in the appropriate colors and fonts - just like you were designing the webpage from scratch. So whether you are trying to fake an earnings screenshot for marketing that new 'get rich quick' eBook you just wrote or you are trying to make Google's home page say funny and disturbing things so you can fool your friends this article contains the very method that you have been searching for!

The first thing to note is that this method uses a short line of JavaScript. Fortunately for you there is no prior knowledge of JavaScript needed nor do you have to actually edit the webpage or deal with code when trying to fake your screenshot. However, you must ensure that JavaScript is enabled in your Internet browser. 99% of people already have this enabled but it is always good to double check anyways, if you can watch videos on YouTube you are already good to go. If using Internet Explorer simply go to 'Tools - Internet Options' and then click on the 'Advanced' tab. Scroll down until you see a box from Java (Sun) and make sure it is checked, once this is done you are ready to get started.

Now all that you have to do is find the page that you want to edit, any page you desire! Simply copy and paste this into the bar where you put the URL once the page has loaded:

Hit enter and that's it! Whatever webpage you are looking at is now fully editable and ready for you to fake your screenshot or just play around and kill some time with. A little trick, be sure to hit 'Undo' after you put in the JavaScript. This will put the URL back in the box but still leave the page editable.
