However useful you’ve found the advice in these articles, if you want any of it to work you’ll have to execute it with an air of confidence. Display confidence by having a good posture and not blabbing or seeming to needy. If you’re usually shy or nervous, just try to realise that it’s just a bit of fun. Turn ‘what if’ into ‘so what?’. Don’t take it too seriously and don’t worry so much about the outcome. Think of it as a chance to learn.
To make things easier try and get the two of you alone, you won’t loose face that way should she turn you down. Being alone also makes you seem more mysterious and more approachable – hopefully not like a loner though.
The problem is, they may also be in a group. This can be used to your advantage Grasshopper; show interest in all of them, including the ones you aren’t interested in, and they will begin to compete for your attention whether they are interested or not, it’s natural to want to beet your friends. Now you have the pick of the bunch and that one will feel like a winner. Also, this is a good chance to learn the names and gossip within the group for future use.
Some props are cool things to have and will instantly make you more attractive. The following things are great to show off if circumstances allow: laptop (sexier than a PC), instrument (the best one depending on the girl), muscles, medals, and finally a large bellend (I’d be interested to hear any tactics you have for showing this that are considered suitable… ‘King sized Mars Bar, you aint so big!?’).
Then to know if it’s working you need to use the bodylanguage techniques in reverse. A lot of them are natural. Is she maintaining eye contact? Is she listening especially hard? Has she leaned forward? Does she fiddle with her hair? Is she feeling herself? (That means you’re doing really well) If two people are making good conversation and hitting it off they should begin mirroring each others gestures and postures, look out for this too.
To learn more about how they flirt, get ‘inside information’ from girls magazines etc. Learn their techniques and identify/counter them, like a sparing match. This also gives you tips on fashionable dress style and body type. Also they have interesting bits like horoscopes that Loaded seems to leave out…
One trick you probably know is that the pupils grow larger when they talk to some one they like, this is also affected by light however so be careful not to confuse the two. Here’s another weird one: if you’re doing well, she will expose her inner wrist or palm of her hand to you. It’s subconscious and really, really weird. If a dog likes you it will roll over, I guess it’s the same. It’s also easier for a girl to get away with the touchy feely thing as girls are more naturally touchy, so if you catch them touching your arm to show appreciation for a joke more than once, you’re in. Assuming all goes well, more touching follows.
Then, break off the conversation, go and talk to some one else. Subconsciously they like a challenge and they will be thinking about non stop. Apparently. Always quit while you’re ahead and leave them wanting more.
