With the advanced technology and decreasing renewable sources every one is finding ways to use alternate energy source for day to day life. One such alternate source of energy is the solar energy. You must be wondering how you can this energy in your day to day life. With the advancement in the technology there are various equipments that you can use in your home in place of other energy sources. Solar energy can prove to be very efficient and better than other sources that we use every day. Solar energy has the following benefits:

1. This energy is absolutely free and is efficient as well. This energy does not have any side effects and also it does not cause pollution in the environment. it is healthy for life as it does not release any kind of harmful gases.

2. If we count how much of the solar energy is present then it will be easily available for more then 10 generations that are yet to come. Thus it is present in large amount and there are very less chances of it getting finished.

There are many other advantages of the solar energy. But we need to think ways to implement it in our day to day lives.

Solar cells are very efficient these can be used over and again because they can be charged by keeping in the sun. This cell also does not make noise they silently provides energy to the home. You can also make solar panels in your home if you have a kit of DIY. These can be easily made in home. These cells help you in reducing your electricity bills. Now in the market such lights are available that are based on the solar energy. They produce high intensity of light and you can charge your phones with this devise only. Now days there are cell phones that are based on the solar energy. They work with the energy provide by the sun. You have to charge them by keeping them in sun. These devices can be used in night as well.

Solar cookers are available from quite a long time. You can prepare food in such cookers and keep them in the sun. This will help you in reducing your gas bills as well. Now day’s solar cars are also being manufactured. These cars and bikes will reduce your petrol and diesel bills. With all these things you can really transform your home and make it purely solar based.

But this energy has many problems and disadvantages. Devices like solar cooker and solar panels do not work in the night. For their continuous use you need to have solar energy. Thus they have not become very popular. But now devices are made which saves the solar energy and thus can be used 24 hours. But still countries are cold and have less access to sun and its energy cannot use these devices. Therefore solar energy can be used completely in those countries which have access to sun for the maximum part of the day.
