How to Stop Drinking Alcohol
By Kyle Oliart | Alcoholism | Unrated

I oppose anyone and everyone who says that alcohol cannot be left. It all depends on your will power that comes from the inner belief that you can do anything what you wish for. I can get you familiar with some simple steps to get rid of drinking alcohol but firstly you should consider it as the top most negative problem and make up your mind to quit no matter what.

It does not really matter that if you are a professional drinker or an occasional one, alcohol is bad and your mind needs to strongly accept this. This is when your will power would boost making you start hating alcohol. Otherwise, you would remain a servant to such a damaging thing. Now secondly it is better to have supporters around you then to fight it alone. Let your loved ones know about your struggle to get away from alcohol and they will surely encourage you making you feel on top of alcohol and not bounded to it.

Another thing you should avoid is to hanging around people who are alcoholic or even do it very rarely. Your entire efforts would be useless if you even drink a sip of it in between or after you leave it. If they are good friends of yours then may be because of you they would try to quit as well. You would need some self-motivation and a lot of confidence, for this, keep a calendar and cross off days on when you were successful. As the good days will increase, your confidence and will power would automatically raise looking at that calendar every day.

One of the hardest but most effective acts would be to get rid of your beverages corner from your house. Your temptation and desire would disappear itself once the alcoholic drinks and anything of that category goes out of your reach. Just make a rough reading of how much you spend on alcohols and by saving that what all you can do. I am sure that you would consider alcohol as the worst waste of money and spend your money on something useful and healthy.

What you can do is, whenever a desire for alcohol rises; drink water or other juices as much as you can. Replace the time when you drink with things like playing darts or watching TV, may be take your family for an outing somewhere. What can be better then to have a hundred percent healthy and a happy family?
