If you suspect that your wife has been cheating on you, don’t accuse her. First, confirm that what you are thinking is actually true and then confront her with the same. Infidelity is very common these days and is the main reason for breaking up of a relationship. If you think that your wife is cheating, look for these signs.

• Have you noticed a change in her appearance and the way she is carrying herself off lately? If your wife has been through a change of look without your knowledge, then this can be a sign that she is cheating on you. Look out for the regular things that your wife uses, her cosmetics, her perfumes and the like. If you see a major change then this can be quite a sign that she is cheating.

• If you feel that there has been a change in the way your wife shows her affection or she has been cutting herself off from you, then this could be a possible sign that she is cheating. If your love life has seen a major change and your wife has stopped complaining that you don’t give attention to her or you don’t spend much time with her, she might possibly having an affair. If your wife hesitates to have a physical contact with you then she probably fears of getting caught.

• If your wife has become secretive about her whereabouts and her friends and schedules, there is a possibility that she is in an extramarital affair. If you observe your wife spending more time over the phone or the internet or she tries to escape questions on where is she going and when she would get back, she is probably seeing someone else.

• If you see sudden behavioral changes in your wife, like she has become indifferent to your problems. If she avoids going out with you and is no longer interested in pulling a conversation with you and is also not paying much attention to your children, she is possibly cheating. If she is over the phone and you walk in, she abruptly ends the call and tries to divert your attention then she has been seeing someone.

• Usually it is the wives who make bill payments. Take up the responsibility of paying the bills and check her phone bills. If you get a chance, look through her phone call logs and also check her text messages. This can give you an idea of whether she has been cheating on you.

If you find out that your wife is in some other relationship, don’t become violent or don’t jump to any decision. Also, never cross-question your wife in front of your children, keep this issue a secret and talk to your wife. Going through these situations can be painful but, ending them without clarifying issues can be even painful. So talk to your wife and reach a decision that is mutual, and keep in mind the future of your children.
