As a guy myself my heart goes out to any girl looking for romantic gift ideas for their boyfriends. The problem is that guys often aren’t typically romantic, or at least that’s what we’d like you to believe, which makes it hard to be demonstrative without making us look awkward or blush. The truth is though, that most guys are softies at heart and really appreciate their girlfriend’s romantic tendencies. If you get it right, romantic gift ideas for guys can be sweet, cool and fun.

Romance you see needn’t necessarily be a case of love hearts and roses (most guys won’t appreciate flowers), but can be the little moments that show you care or understand your guy. One way to do this is to try and think of your guy’s interests and hobbies then somehow link your gift idea in with these. For example, if you boyfriend likes football and you get him tickets to the world cup – that’s romantic because it shows you care and you’ll definitely hit a nerve.
