Easy Tips for Preventing Eye Wrinkles
By Rick Missimer | Skin Care | Unrated

Getting old is a natural part of life. While we can’t stop aging in the actual sense, we can prolong the effects of aging from appearing on our face. One of the most hated effects of aging is getting wrinkles. Preventing wrinkles is easier than getting rid of them when you already have them. Ideally, a person should start right from their teenage years to prevent wrinkles instead of going through cosmetic surgery or indulging in Botox frequently.

Wrinkles appear because as you age the elasticity and moisture in your skin reduces. Your skin's ability to retain water begins to diminish and hence the formation of wrinkles.

Always make sure that you are well hydrated. Not only it’s healthy but also to ensure that your face is well hydrated. Keep splashing your face with water throughout the day to ensure natural hydration.

For starters, one of the easiest things you can do to reduce wrinkles is to protect your skin from the sun. You can do this by wearing sun block and hats whenever you are out in the sun. Even the moisturizers and lotions you buy should contain some amount of sun block.

Since it’s not always possible to block your skin from UV rays, indulge in drinking beverages and eating foods that are high in antioxidants like cranberries, broccoli, carrots or green tea. Antioxidants penetrate the dead skin cells and rejuvenate the skin. Skin rejuvenation happens when the dead skin cells are pushed out from the skin and removed, therefore allowing new and strong skin cells to grow and take over. Antioxidants encourage the process of new skin cells to grow and take over the old ones. These antioxidants are so good that you can even apply their juice on to your face directly or in your moisturizer to get an extra edge.

Believe it or not, sleeping the proper way can also help reduce wrinkles. Ever notice the sleep lines that are all over your face when you wake up in the morning? Those can turn into wrinkles over a period of time. To prevent the sleep lines from turning into wrinkles, sleep on your back and avoid sleeping on your face.

While frowning and stressing is a big no-no for prevention of wrinkles, indulging in relaxing facial exercises, which circulate the blood flow and can prove wonders for the face. Not only will your face feel relaxed but it will also look well.

No face can look young or beautiful without feeling it inside. There is no guarantee that these remedies or precautions will work forever, but if imbibed properly it can prove to be effective on your quest to fight anti aging. Kick your bad habits like smoking and drinking to your curb and get plenty of rest.

Lastly, remember not to fall for all the marketing gimmicks for products which guarantee wrinkle reduction or prevention. More often than not they contain synthetic or chemical ingredients. Ultimately, it is your attitude and determination which will prevent wrinkles. Follow these steps and you are well on your way to win the battle against those pesky lines.
