Tips on Healing a Broken Heart
By Jonathan Pitts | Love | Unrated

Heart is a word synonymous to love. There are a number of people who fall in love and fall out of love without any pain. But for some to forget their ex, and coming out of the fact that they have gone through a break up can ruin them emotionally and push them into depression. Relationships fail because of misunderstandings, accusation, lack of emotions, and also that the other partner wasn’t in love at all and was just playing around. At times, the healing of a broken heart takes months to years, and still people can’t forget how truly they had fallen in love with someone.

If you are going through any such phase in life, then here are some tips that can help you in healing your broken heart.

• The first thing that you should do is to shed off your tears. Cry until you feel light in your heart. This does not show that you are not strong but is a healing process. Call one of your closest friends and pour your heart and true feelings in front of them and cry over.

• If you want, you can go away on a vacation and cut off the ties from everyone. Refresh yourself in new surroundings; think about the important things in life that you have to do and the other important relations that you have to live for. Come back from your vacation and start your life once more.

• If something else interests you, and you have been avoiding doing that for a long time, then go ahead with your plans. Develop new hobbies; think about joining a club or some activity zone that you know can lighten your mood.

• Go out for a walk with your pet, if you stay alone then it is better that you call your friends over so that you have some company, and also occupied so that you can stop thinking about your ex.

• Do not oversleep. This is the most important thing that you should understand. The more you sleep the more you feel depressed, so think of newer options and keep yourself occupied. Look out for latest releases, watch movies, listen to some great music or clean up your stuff.

• Whatever memories you have of your ex pictures, cards and gifts, tear them off or burn them, believe me it does make you feel light.

• You can cook for yourself your favorite recipe or buy your favorite cake and eat it by yourself. Always have some good music playing; it serves as a good healer. Watch a good show on TV, make a schedule and look for a part time job that would keep your busy. The more you engross yourself, the less you would think about your ex and the better you would feel.

• Go shopping especially for girls. This is the best healer that they can have. Buy stuff that you have been longing for a while; visit crowded areas so that you don’t feel lonely. This will help you in putting away the thoughts of your ex.

Going through heartbreak is always painful, but life still has to move on. You cannot waste precious moments sulking over what is lost. So move ahead in life and give it a new beginning.
