How to Get Rid of Hangover Headache

It is common for people to get happy and cheerful when they are out with their friends in a club or a restaurant but this happiness turns over to a little bit of craziness when you get drunk. Now you would suffer the consequences such as nausea, vomiting and mainly the headaches. This is where the fun gets over with and you realize that why did you even had alcohol the previous night. What you are actually lacking is sufficient amount of water in your body because of the metabolism that alcohol has taken over.

Some people think that taking drinks in the morning the next day is going to help with the hangover headache but it actually does not. Consuming more and more alcohol would get you nothing but a dehydrated body with some more painful signs. Taking another drink will cause you to suffer form alcoholism that you certainly do not want as a result of just your desires. Taking painkillers such as aspirin for the hangover headaches could be a disaster and definitely not a way to get rid of hangover headache. You would indirectly cause enough of the kidney damage resulting in destructive nephrons and renal arteries. Constant use of pain reducing medicine can also affect the blood pressure and heart rate.

Staying in bed all day long thinking the headache and hangover symptoms would go away themselves is not going to help either. It is rather better if you go out for a walk in fresh air, it will help your body metabolize and regulate its functions properly. Exercising is usually the best way you can possibly get rid of hangover headaches.

Drink as much water as you can. It will help the body cells retain the hydration that it lost during the alcohol consumption. Drink a cup of coffee or green tea to feel relaxed and calm while you are having a hangover headache. It will reduce the swelling you have in your muscles and nerves because usually the inflammation of the arteries causes hangover headache. Take a bowl of warm chicken soup that is homemade. The minerals such as salt and potassium in the soup will make your idleness go away. Take fresh fruit juices to help your body cells metabolize all the alcohol you took. Eat crackers or muffins to provide your body with the nutrition it needs to burn down the calories in your body so you can feel energetic.

By following the above mentioned tips you can get rid of hangover headache in a short amount of time but you need to make sure that you limit the amount of drinks you are consuming because keeping a balance in everything is the most important thing.
