Of course it can be if you’d like it to be, but many women give themselves or receive breast massages to improve their overall health, as well as the shape of their breasts and keep them firmer for longer. Massaging the breasts in a specific way can help the lymph nodes to drain and clear out infections and toxins can be gotten rid of in the way too. We have put together some tips for how to give a breast massage so that you can get thee benefits too.

Firstly, start off by lying down on your back. Ideally this would be on a bed but as long as you are flat, well supported and have a pillow or cushion under your head then this is fine. You’ll need either some massage oil or just olive oil for this so it might be an idea to put a towel under the top half of your body. If you’re choosing to have scented massage oil and you want the experience to be relaxing then mix the oil with cedar wood, bergamot or lavender essential oil (providing you are not allergic; it’s best to do a test on the inside of your elbow 12 hours before).

Put a few drops of oil onto your hands and distribute evenly. Place your fingers next to the nipples and gently smooth out towards the edge of the breast. Apply as much pressure as it comfortable; this should mean it’s not at all painful but also not so light that you can barely feel it. Imagine that you need to squeeze something from the ducts inside your breast. Do this from every angle once and then repeat on the other breast.

The second step is to hold the breast with both hands so that the nipple is in the gap between thumb and index finger. Squeeze the breast from the edge up to the nipple with both hands but again, gently. If at any point you feel there is too much friction between your hand and your breast then simply use more massage oil. There is no limit to how much you can use.

Step three: still holding your breast with both hands, twist it clockwise, trying to keep a grip on it a bit more but letting your hand slide over it too. This helps the liquid within the breasts move and be released and therefore toxins to be drained. Finally, step four is very similar to step two, putting pressure from the edge of the breasts and squeezing towards to middle, but do this with varying pressures and varying angles to ensure that every past of the breast is being massaged.

If you watch breast massage videos you may see that professionals give the massage quite quickly. Because of the massage oil this isn’t uncomfortable, but at the same time you do not have to do it this fast either. Hot to give a breast massage is a skill that is learned with practice, so as long as you are taking around five to ten minutes on each massage and have between one and three per week you will heave very healthy and better looking breasts.
