The hives caused due to stress can last up to six weeks, until they fade away completely with proper cure. It they stay longer than six weeks then they are called as chronic hives, which has the potential to last for several months. Chronic hives are usually more baffling, and can be difficult to deal with.
Stress induced hives can annoy a person big time due to constant itching and burning sensation. Your existing frustrations will be magnified with the appearance of these rashes on the surface of the skin. If stress exists posts the condition, then it becomes very difficult to eliminate hives. Prolonged stress will only result into over production of cortisols in the blood, thus aggregating the situation.
Stress is a part and parcel of our life. Almost every day we encounter stress in one form or the other. Apart from hives, stress is held responsible for heart disorders, cardiac arrest, diabetes, obesity and several other ailments. Although we are aware of the life threatening disease it can welcome, we find ourselves incapable of handling the stress, thus leading to undesirable and unwanted diseases and situations.
