Seat Snug Keeps Your Child Secure
By Jason Ladock | Equipment | Unrated

You need to use booster seats for your child’s safety up until he is 8 years old and attains a height of 4’9’’ and weighs 80 pounds. But, ordinary car seat belts do not ensure the same level of safety in kids as it does in adults. This is because the seat belt may be loose and this in turn increases chances of the child slipping, bouncing, falling or tipping over during the impact of an accident or sudden brake.

SeatSnug is designed to increase child safety while riding in a booster seat. This product enables the lap belt to be clipped snugly around a child’s lap. This will keep the child from rocking, bouncing around, falling over or getting ejected from the seat in case of a high impact situation. Three-point seat belts can allow slackness when adults are strapped in, never mind children. Loose seat belts are dangerous because the child can slip under or get thrown about during bumpy rides or accidents. The SeatSnug puts your fears at rest by snugly securing your child in the booster seat.

SeatSnug can be clipped on to your vehicles existing seat belt. Buckle up your child in the booster seat and tighten the lap belt around your child’s hips by pulling up on the shoulder strap and you are done. The SeatSnug does not interfere with the normal functioning of the shoulder strap. The Seat Snug works especially well with booster seats which have backs. This ensures that the shoulder strap is threaded across the chest and not across the neck. This is the best safety measure you can take while riding in a car with your child in tow.

Even normal car rides can be uncomfortable for your child if the seat belt is loose. If the booster seat is not snugly secured, it can tip and rock leading to motion sickness in children. An improperly secured booster seat can even fall over during tricky vehicle manipulations! This emphasizes the need for a product like SeatSnug.

The SeatSnug works on the basis of the CG-Lock technology. It has received the National Parenting Center’s Seal of Approval for being a good child safety device. Both the CG-Lock and the SeatSnug are crash tested in accordance with the U.S government’s regulations.

The key features of SeatSnug include:

• Can be clipped over the existing seat belt machinery easily.

• Enables you to lightly fit the lap belt around your child’s hips so that there is minimum movement of the booster seat.

• Does not interfere with normal working of the shoulder strap.

• Allows free upper body movement so that your child is not uncomfortable.

• Keeps your child safe and secure and your mind at rest.

• Has been tried, tested and recommended.

Your child’s safety is your responsibility and the SeatSnug is a great device to ensure it.
