Aromatherapy Pillow Spray

Everybody needs a good sleep especially at nights. This is important to be able to recharge and relax the body for the next day’s activities. If you want something more to add to a good nights sleep, think about having an aromatherapy pillow spray. This is now basically being used to make a person sleep well and make them calm to sleep when they have difficulty in sleeping. It is a relatively safe and convenient way to sleep well.

• Aroma has something to do with smell. So, this is a therapy for sleep and it is just good to remember what aroma induces sleep effectively to be used on the pillow.

• The aromatherapy pillow spray is a mixture of essential oils which have therapeutic properties to keep breathing easy and comfortable. These organic essential oils get into the respiratory tract in such a way that it induces a more relaxed way of breathing while asleep. They are good to relieve stress and have calming effects to the body to further induce sleep.

• There are several kinds of aromatherapy pillow sprays to choose from depending on your choice and need. These are essential oils especially made for aromatherapy.

• If you have a cold and have difficulty sleeping, you can use some Eucalyptus spray on your pillow to encourage sleep. This is also good for people who have muscular pain, viral infections and bronchitis.

• Use Chamomile for calming effects. This is also effective for premenstrual disorders, indigestion and sensitive skin conditions.

• Use Jasmine aroma in case you are suffering from depression. This is also good as an aphrodisiac, usually good for post-natal depression.

• Lavender is good as mild painkiller for headaches, insect bites, cuts and wounds. It is also good for calming insomnia and mild depression.

• The use of Peppermint helps to relieve indigestion, headaches, mental fatigue, itching and nausea. However, this is not good to use for babies and young children.

• The aroma Geranium is good for infections, cuts and bruises. It is considered as a mild astringent to soothe the skin problems like eczema and skin sores.

• Use Marjoram aroma spray to relieve menstrual pain, sore throat and headache. This helps fight off insomnia and helps in good blood circulation.

• The aroma Neroli is good as a mild sedative and is effective for nervous depression, anxiety, back pain and menstrual pain.

• The aromatherapy spray Rosemary is considered a mild stimulant. It is good for respiratory problems, asthma, body aches and pains.

There is the body detox spray made of essential oils of Eucalyptus and other botanical ingredients that help the body relax and at the same time help boost the immune system. A few sprays of this on the pillow will result to good relaxed sleep.

You can also do a simple homemade aromatherapy pillow spray by using the following ingredients:

5 drops of Lavender

4 drops Orange

5 drops of Chamomile

Add 4 ounces of water and mix all together. Put in a spray bottle, shake well then spray into pillow and other bed linens. This will surely help you fall asleep.
