Due to hormonal functions, hair keeps growing in most parts of the body, the same hormones that men have. During this time, a hairless face and body is the idea of a perfect beauty, that’s why there are lots of new products and procedures that offers a promising result to both men and women. Frequent tweezing and shaving can be tiring and can damage the skin, that’s why more women today are seeking for alternatives. Permanent hair removal can be a source of distress among women. Although there are temporary ways that are available to remove unwanted hairs, women are looking for a permanent way to stop the accumulation of hair.

Facial and body hair growth in women is a worldwide issue, hot honey and tree saps were used during the ancient times by most women. Now, there are new ways which aids in removing facial hair, they are the following:

1. Waxing – It is very popular even if it was said to be painful. It is inexpensive compared to other techniques. Waxing method can be easily done at home through microwavable waxing kits. It is usually composed of a sugaring beeswax and spatula. Patience is needed badly from this technique because you need to melt the component to be able to start waxing. You should try and test it once it’s done to avoid burning of your skin.

2. Hair removal gel – If you are tired of plucking and shaving, why don’t you try the hair removal gel? As women ages, the more they are becoming prone to unwanted hairs. By using a hair removal gel, you can simply avoid the mess of waxing and shaving. You will also avoid painful methods that are accompanied by other techniques. It also leaves your skin naturally moisturize and smooth. You will be hairless for about 6 weeks, isn’t it great? You can also use it on other hairy areas like bikini and underarm areas.

3. Bleaching – It is a popular technique among home makers. Although this is acceptable and can be bought over the counter. You shouldn’t try it because it can affect your skin. Bleach has strong ingredients that can be harmful to your skin. You shouldn’t try it in your eyebrows because you can go blind when it enters your eyes.

4. Shaving – It is a common way of taking away unwanted hairs. It has been used by most people through the years.

5. Electrolysis – It has been considered years back. It is an effective way of removing hair permanently but it is not advisable anymore now a day because of the scarring result.

6. Threading – It is a trend now a day, lots of people are trying it because it promises a lasting result than shaving and plucking.

7. Tweezers – It is a life saving tool. It is easy to use but often it can be annoying.

Hair removing method needs to be done regularly once you’ve started it. You need to do it frequently because when the hair grows back, it will grow harder and blacker.
