Best Veggie Meal Plans

As a sudden wave, people all over the world have become health and diet conscious. Switching over to vegetarian diet has become the latest trend these days. A veggie meal plan refers to sticking to a no meat meal and strictly consists of vegetables, fruits and dairy products. If you are wondering on the advantages of switching over to a veggie meal plan, then here are a few: weight reduction, environmental conservation, skin care and a healthy body. There are a range of vegetables and fruits that you can choose from to make your own veggie meal plan.

Let’s get started with the best veggie meal plan. Your meals should aim at cutting down on calories and increasing the number of minerals and nutrients. However, this does not indicate that you should totally cut off from calories; you should have a balanced low calorie diet, for example if you are having a fruit salad then deduct the dressing or the cream topping from it.

Breakfast: This is the first meal of the day and hence should be king sized. You can have a sandwich with an egg accompanies with a glass of orange juice. Alternatively, you can have bagel with 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and a cup of soymilk. If you want to make it more luxurious, then have oats topped with dry fruits and whole grain pancakes. You can also include a cup of soymilk and a spoon of maple syrup.

Mid-Day Mini Snack: For this you can pop in a fruit either an apple or any fruit of your choice.

Lunch: You can have a veggie burger that is made of whole grain bun with lots of tomatoes and lettuce leaves. Or else you can have 2 slices of whole grain bread along with some jelly or peanut butter. You can also include a cup of yogurt in your veggie meal plan lunch. You can also make salad with lots of vegetables, which can keep your tummy full.

Tea: Have a cup of tea, as you prefer it along with some cookies.

Dinner: Usually people tend to sleep right after dinner; hence keeping it light is the best. You can opt for baked potatoes with the legumes of your choice. Season it with cumin and chilies. You can add some greens by adding boiled broccoli. Alternatively, you can also go in for fried rice along with tofu. Make your own vegetarian dish by baking some veggies and rolling them with some bread or have it as a side dish with rice. If you are too tired to make anything, then some delicious soup with whole grain bread should make up your dinner.

You should always prefer having baked or raw vegetables that have been washed properly prior to cooking or eating if you are going veggie for the purpose of weight reduction. This is a brief veggie meal plan that you can stick to for a while and see how it improves your health. This diet apart from helping people reduce weight has also been helpful in cleansing the body.
