By Jonathan Pitts | Pet Related | Unrated

Cats’ behavioral problems can be very frustrating. Once your cat starts to urinate on your bed or on other furniture, it can be a sign that something’s wrong with them. Before you start to be annoyed, you need to be aware of certain reasons why they are doing this to you, although, they know they should not go beyond their limitations. You can try some other tricks to drive them away from furniture and make them urinate again on their litter box. But, once you felt the urge to give up, here are some tips you can use.

Before you continuously seek for solution to your cat’s problems, you need to figure out why your cat is doing such thing. It might be a signal that something’s wrong with them. It might be regarding their health or it can also be some other problem. You can pinpoint the following to make sure you are in the right track:

1. Stress problems.

2. New inhabitants within the residence.

3. Change of routine.

4. Strenuous activity such as training.

You should understand that cats are creatures of habits. Like humans, they are entitled to change their mind from time to time. Even if they are toilet trained, they can still urinate in some other things like furniture or bed. They have different idea on how to deal with stress. Most of them can be not delightful to pet owners. By simply figuring out what’s on your cat’s mind, you can lessen the problem.

You can also seek for help through your veterinarian, since they are an expert in this field, why don’t you ask them about your cat’s behavior. You cannot just let your cat ruin your house. This is often the problem of cat owners that is why they end up giving away their cat or housing it to a shelter. If you got your cat from a shelter, you can also ask help from them, they know the attitude of every animal they have in that place. They are an authority in this field.

Although, cats can be a nice pet inside your household, it doesn’t guarantee a lifetime problem free situation. They tend to change their mind constantly even if you have been training them to have a specific place for everything inside the house. You should ask for experts help so that they can guide you in taking care of your cat. There are also non-governmental organizations who are helping cat owners and adopters who are very much interested in taking care of their cat and finding out more about them.
