What's Involved in a Parasite Cleanse
By Stan Tian | Miscellaneous | Unrated

In Victorian times women would intentionally eat joints of ham that were infested with the eggs of a parasite. This was done so that the parasite would keep them slim, but in today's society we know that parasites can cause a lot of problems besides weight loss.

There are hundreds of different types of parasite, some which live in the bloodstream, others in the digestive system, but when someone does have them they run the risk of that parasite being transferred to the vital organs and causing a life threatening condition. This is one of the main reasons that a parasite cleanse is something that many people do, whether they know if they have a parasite living in their body or not.

A parasite cleanse will fall into either of two categories: natural or via prescription medication. Natural parasite cleanses exist for the reasons that most natural alternatives exist: they avoid the side effects that prescription medications can cause. However, many people maintain that natural remedies do not work as well as prescription medication. Also, most medications can only kill one or two strains of parasite, meaning that if you want to do a full parasite cleanse you then need to take a cocktail of medications, which give you side effects and may not be easily attained via your doctor.

A natural parasite cleanse, however, simply involves taking a cocktail of natural remedies, for example clove and black walnut. These come in capsule dosages and you simply take them at specific times of the day until you complete the course. Most parasite cleanse natural medications can be bought easily and legitimately over the Internet if you do a simple search for them.

Depending on the individual product you buy, you may be required to carry out a detox or colon cleanse before you start the parasite cleanse too. This means the treatment is as effective as possible as your body is free of toxins. Don't simply follow any detox though, the one required may be very specific to the individual product so you should read and follow all the instructions carefully. Most of the time a detox carried out before a parasite cleanse will simply involve fasting for a one day and drinking certain drinks. Other times you may be required to replace one meal with green tea or a smoothie.

During the actual parasite cleanse the only side effect you are likely to feel at all is needing to go to the toilet more often than usual. Because of this you may want to do it while you are off work for a weekend, or working from home instead. In general this shouldn't disrupt you, but if you like a lot of privacy then you may wish to seek it at this time. This is the only side effect and it is a good sign that the parasite cleanse is doing what it was designed to do: kill the parasites and rid your body of them.
