If being underweight is a problem, having a fast metabolism that leads to weight gain can be a problem if not properly addressed. The big question is how can really be a person who has a fast metabolism gain weight without exerting so much effort at all.

You should keep in mind that when it comes to health, you should not decide on your own because this may cause harm to you if not now, maybe later on in life. The doctor needs to assist if you are suffering from other disease or you are really just lacking some nutrients your body needs to function well in order to gain weight.

Those who are experiencing a fast metabolic rate will be advised to consume a large amount of calories compared to those who are in adequate weight and metabolic rate. The calories you ought to take should come from high nutritional value foods and not from empty ones which are called junk foods. The key to eating right is by having a balanced diet. The right amount of vegetables, meat, fish, and fruits will help you gain weight the proper way.

Your doctor will most likely to introduce and ask you to take much amount of vitamins. You can take them together with balanced diet and enough rest. You can also add extra nutritious snacks in between the day. This will help you gain extra pounds without so much effort.

If you want to have bulky muscles together with weight gain, you can also add glutamine or creatine to your supplements. These supplements are common to body builders; it allows the water to be retained from your body that gives it the extra pounds and bulk.

Again, you need to consult your doctor first before using it. Some people don’t need much water, especially those who suffer from kidney ailments. You may also consider twisting your daily routine in the gym. There are exercise to help you boost that energy and appetite. You may want to ask your trainer about it.
