Metabolism is the key in weight loss and gain. It is often blamed by most people especially when they cannot lose weight right away. The proper functioning of the human’s metabolism varies from person to person. Since no one functions exactly the same, you cannot compare your body functions from others. If you are very much aware on what to blame on your diet success and loss, you should take a look at the following:

1. You should try to cut your time allotted for exercise and strenuous activities. Any activity that leads to muscle development can promote an increase in fat burning.

2. You should try to avoid metabolic boosting foods and herbs. In other culture, they have proven that herbs and other spices aids in higher metabolism. If this is really a fact, then you need to avoid them to slower yours.

3. Increase calorie intake. You can eat lots of varieties of foods which is not good to those who promote their metabolism.

4. You can eat heavy bedtime snack, since the body is slow in digesting foods during night time, you can eat during this time.

5. When you decrease your sleep pattern, your body cannot function properly so it will lessen the metabolic rate.

6. Overdrinking caffeine rich foods will slower your metabolic rate.

7. As a person aged, the metabolism goes slower.

Metabolism is a part of life, the way it functions normally depends on how it was designed by God and not the way humans want it to be. Since it is responsible in digesting and converting foods into energy, it is being used by the body to convert the foods into energy and make use of it throughout the day. Metabolic rate differs from one person to another. While some have faster metabolism, some are having problems with weight loss due to slower one.

For people with slower metabolism, the burning of calories is usually slower and fat burning cannot function really well. If you are having this problem, you shouldn’t worry because, you can still utilize it by doing regular exercise. Through regular exercise, you will be able to make use your stored fats to be converted by the body into energy which you can also make use during your diet time. Eating the right kind of foods will also help you on your drive to improving your health. Metabolism functioning also depends on your genes. It plays a big factor when it comes to your overall health.

Being aware of the quantity and the quality of foods you eat will make your health improved. Although, there are lots of factors that contributes to proper nutrition and lifestyle takes up the bigger portion. Being careful with your diet and your activities will help you achieve your goal. There are various researches that show different formulation regarding the difference between faster and slower metabolism. Whatever your preference is, you still need to follow certain health guidelines in keeping your body to perform at its best.
