How to Break Up Without Feeling Guilty
By Jonathan Pitts | Relationships | Unrated

Breaking up with someone you’ve been with for quite some time can be really devastating. Break is such a small word but everyone will agree that it is the most powerful word you can leave to someone. Breaking his/her heart without feeling guilty are definitely hard to do especially if you’ve been together for such a long time. There is hundreds of reason why couples decide to end their relationship, you can absorb these:

• Individualism

• Being fascinated to a new person

• Infidelity

• Incompatibility physically and sexually

• Improper body maintenance

• Conflicts of interests

• Nagging

• Comparing practices

• Addiction

• Dependency to family

These are just some common reasons why couples ended their relationship together. It’s hard to save when one is only working and the other is not interested anymore. When you are suffering in any of those, you don’t have to feel any guilt because they are grounds for separation to someone even if you’ve been together for a couple of years. Here are some ways that can help you in coping up with guilt so you can move on freely in life:

1. You shouldn’t think of your past now that you’re free. It’s over now. Once you’re done with someone, you should let go of him and the thoughts about him. It won’t be helpful to you to always think about him and the things that reminds about your past together. It’s acceptable that the first stage of your separation process will be denial, but you don’t have to mend and be stacked in it. It’s the 21st century, the ages of computer and live chat in the internet. There are still lots of options to meet another one who’ll probably love you more than he did.

2. Being trapped in a relationship is not a good thing. When you are tired and sick of sharing your life with someone, there are lots of things to stop it. The greatest move should be now. Not tomorrow, later, but now. More emotions will be invested if you refuse to stop it early. If you want to end it, there are tons of ways to do it so he/she will just drop you off and leave you without guilty feeling. Insulting his/her mother will be the most helpful thing for him/her to leave you easily. It’s the meanest thing one can do to another person isn’t it?

3. Refusal to have sex can be another ground for separation. Continuous refusal will mean break up later on.

4. If you’re a man and you’re tired of your relationship with a girl, quitting your job and letting her do the working will make her leave you easily. No one would like to marry a bum.

5. Ignoring your partner is the worst thing you can do. This is making her/him drive himself away if he becomes tired of your set up at home if you’re living together.
