Foods to Eat to Stop Diarrhea

Diarrhea is distinguished as watery bowel which can happen to anyone. It is very important for you to take it seriously because dehydration can lead to mortality later on when ignored. Loss of fluid is the common reason why diarrhea patients suffer seriously. When diarrhea happens, the nutrition that should be distributed in the body is not properly taken to where they should be.

And, this will result in malnutrition which can also be a serious scenario. There are lots of causes of diarrhea, although very often, it mildly affects certain individuals and after a few days the body goes back into its proper track.

There are lots of foods to eat to stop diarrhea and helps to lessen the agony of having a loose bowel; they can be any of the following:

• Powdered cow’s milk – they usually carry the antibodies of the E. coli bacteria that you can use to fight the enemies.

• Lemon juice – a glass of lemon juice with a full amount of water will kill the pathogens that cause diarrhea.

• Grape fruit seed extract – it contains anti microbial ingredient which fights the microbial causing diarrhea.

• Apple cider vinegar – this is just a preventive measure especially if you are traveling.

• Black currant

• Semolina

• Tapiocas

• Blueberry

• Arrowroot

Suffering from diarrhea should not be for a longer time. You should seek medical help once it lasts for more than 3 days. Most doctors don’t give oral medicine for diarrhea because through the bowel movement, humans are able to eliminate toxins which should be secreted. It’s the natural way of the body to remove unwanted substances that should not be present in the body for a longer time.

But, if you are suffering from stomach pain and you are experiencing continued watery bowel. Something’s not right anymore. You should start seeking for help since dehydration is a fatal complication that can occur when diarrhea is going on for a longer time.

It can also be annoying when you are traveling or doing some important things. You need to be confining in your home when you have it since you need to always go to the bathroom. You cannot do normal things you are doing when you suffer from diarrhea. Having a proper digestion will certainly stop you from the suffering. Eating fiber rich foods will also be helpful because it will eliminate the toxins within your body.

Taking the following will help you improve your digestive tract and prevents you from having diarrhea:

• Folic acid intake

• Lactobacillus

• Magnesium

• Natural organic sulfur

• Drink plenty of water and fruit juices

• Avoid soft drinks

• Avoid coffee

    Have you ever heard of the acronym "BRAT"...... foods to us to aid in eleveating diarreah? Wondering what the t stands for in the ac.

    I hope this works because I have had it since yesterday and it was an oily colour so I am really cautious now about what I am eating and drinking. I am having diluting juice not very strong with dry toast.

    "BRAT" acronym stands for Banana, Rice, Applesauce and Toast... these foods help bind after an upset stomach... banana help replace potassium and other nutrients lost and the rest bind as thery are high in starch!
