Cranberry juice is a popular refreshing drink available in all supermarkets. They can be the sweetened kind or the unsweetened one. The best cranberry juice should be 100% pure with no additives, no preservatives, no artificial colors and flavors. It is rich in natural nutrients, fiber, anti-oxidants, photochemical substances and vitamin C that have good and healthy effects to the body. It is good for both young and old.

There are many health benefits of drinking cranberry juice. It is an effective treatment against urinary tract infection. It is also a good cure for colds. It cures sore throats and cold infections. It helps cure ear and respiratory infections especially in children. It emulsifies fats because cranberry juice has organic acids that can break down fats in the body. Thus, it helps you to lose excess body weight and to control your weight as well. It prevents stomach ulcers because it can kill bacteria that stick to the stomach walls and intestines.

Another health benefit of drinking cranberry juice is that it is good for diabetic people since the juice is derived of sweetness and artificial sugars. It is also good to prevent people from depending too much on the use of antibiotics since cranberry juice is a healthier alternative to treat infections.

Cranberry juice can be taken every day. Though some precautions should be taken not to overdose yourself with it, it is better to take about 16 ounces of it as your daily health drink. The other nutritional components of cranberry juice are vitamins A and C, beta-carotene, phosphorus, calcium, potassium and sodium. There are many healthy nutrients and vitamins in cranberry juice are good enough to make it a healthy alternative drink.
