Pet owners especially those people with feline pets are aware that they are not fun of traveling. Cats that are traveling in plane usually suffer from distress and uneasiness. According to the Human Society of the United States, there are yearly reported cases of pets that are being injured or died while traveling. Animal protection organizations worldwide are recommending other methods of traveling pets safely. If you want to go for a vacation, it is better to live your pets with the care of your friends and other member of the family. If you are a real pet lover, you will never sacrifice the safety of your pet just for the sake of being with them. If you are planning to move from other places, you have to find other means of traveling that will not be too risky for your furry friend.

Pet friendly airlines have special area just for pets. This area can ensure that your pet is 100% safe and secure from any kind of harm. There are airlines that specialize in handling pets during flights. You have to ensure that the cargo area of the airline has controlled temperature. To avoid extreme temperature when traveling during extreme weather condition, book for afternoon flights when winter and morning or evening flights during summer season. Ask the airline administrator to watch the loading and unloading of your pet in the cargo area. By doing this you can assure that your pet is a good condition before leaving them inside the cargo area.

Always make sure that your pet is in good condition before taking them on a flight. Consult your veterinarian to ensure they’re healthy before the flight. Some breeds of animals are having problems when loaded in cargo area. Veterinarian can give you the right information if your pet is one if those breeds.
