It can be really frustrating when you have spent lots of time and effort trying to figure out ways to grow out your hair if it is really thin. This is a situation that can be devastating for both men and women. If you want to know of the proper way to get your hair growing out then you will need to make some changes in your health habits and hair product regimes.
Being Healthier. In order to achieve the results that you desire in growing your hair, you're going to need to be taking vitamins. Vitamin B6 is the vitamin that you will need the most when trying to grow your hair. You can find B vitamins in certain foods like eggs, nuts, and different kind of meats. It would be a good idea to include vitamin A and C in your daily diet as well. You can find A and C vitamins inside of fruits, and fortified drinks.
Protecting Your Follicles. If you're having problems with your scalp, such as excessive dandruff, then you would defiantly need to continue treatment with any kind of medical dandruff shampoo, or if you have yet to start using an medicated shampoos, now would be the best time to do so. Keep in mind that you should not scratch your scalp a whole lot. I recommend that you pat it with the palm of your hand, because too much scratching is what can cause damage to your scalp, thus making it harder to grow your hair out.
Exercise. Exercising regularly, can help to aid in DHT. DHT is an enzyme that binds your hair follicles, causing them to die, thus preventing hair growth. This is something that normally occurs in only men. But doing some aerobic type exercises (none including weight lifting) would help aid in hair growth as it brings blood circulation to the head.
Shampoos. Do not use shampoos that have the ingredient lauryl sulfate as it will dry out your hair and make if more brittle and prone to breakage. Be sure and read the ingredients on the back of any shampoo that you may consider buying to make sure this ingredient is not included.
